Hello 2025 - Happy Home Interiors…..

Hello to My Happy Home Interiors Readers,

It’s been a while since I shared a new blog post! The end of last year turned out to be a whirlwind, with so much happening—finishing up Cressbrook Cottage (Airbnb), embarking on an exciting new collaboration with a local designer, and a memorable trip to Cambodia and Vietnam in November. Things got a little crazy, and of course I took time away from work and social media to be with family and friends over Christmas and the New Year.

Reflecting on 2024 whilst I’m not one to dwell on the negatives, I can honestly say that last year wasn’t the best for me. However, during a recent conversation with my husband about 2024, he reminded me of an important truth: if certain challenges hadn’t arisen, I wouldn’t have been open to some of the incredible achievements and growth I did experience in 2024.

I feel so blessed to have him by my side. If 2024 taught me anything, it’s the value of resilience and the irreplaceable strength of a solid support network. My husband and kids have been my rock, offering more support than they probably realise.

Last year brought its share of health challenges, both mental and general. It reminded me how precious good health is and how much it influences every part of life. I’m grateful for the times when I feel well and hopeful for a healthier 2025 and don’t forget to get your flu shot!

2024 was also a tough year financially, especially for small businesses. Many friends and colleagues have shared similar struggles, and our own business faced its fair share of challenges. But as we step into 2025, I’m determined to focus on connection, support, and creating a brighter and stronger year for all of us.

To my amazing clients: thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to design and transform your spaces in 2024. It has been an absolute honor to bring your visions to life! And to those with upcoming projects in 2025—I’m so excited to dive into your dreams and create something wonderful together.

Here’s to a fresh start and a year full of creativity, connection, and growth.

Kind regards,
Kiri
